Sharkz Privacy Policy

Sharkz is a real-time multiplayer game. This page describes all data the game stores and why.

What we collect

• Display name and player tag — chosen by you, shown to other players in-game, on leaderboards, and in friend lists.
• A random install identifier — generated on your device to keep your progress (XP, level, best mass) and purchases without an account. It is not tied to your identity, phone number, or email.
• Gameplay statistics — score, kills, session length, used for leaderboards and your own progression.
• Purchase entitlements — which skins you own, verified through Google Play. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play; we never see or store payment details.

What we do not collect

No email, no phone number, no contacts, no precise location. Sharkz has no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.

Ads you choose to watch

Sharkz shows an ad only when you ask for one: when you are short of pearls for a dive, you can watch a short video for free pearls instead of buying them. There are no banners and no ads between dives. These videos come from Unity Ads (Unity Technologies). To choose and measure its ads, the Unity Ads software in the app collects your device's advertising ID and other device identifiers, your approximate location (from your IP address), basic device and app information, and how you interact with the ad. Unity handles that data under its own privacy policy, which also explains how to exercise your rights over it. You can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalised ads in your phone's settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads, or Google → Ads). Our server only records that an ad was watched to the end, so that it can pay the pearls.

Sharing

Your display name, tag, and gameplay stats are visible to other players as part of normal gameplay. We sell nothing. The only third party that receives data from the app is Unity Ads, as described above.

Retention and deletion

Progress and purchases are kept while the service operates. You can erase everything at any time from settings → Delete my account in the app, which is immediate and permanent. See Delete your account for the full description and for what to do if you have already uninstalled.

Children

Sharkz does not knowingly collect personal information from children; the only user-provided data is a display name.
